Promoting health through cycling conference on Tuesday 30th March 2010 at the University of Bolton
The fifth in the series of conferences on cycling is to be held at the
University of Bolton on Tuesday 30th March 2010.
The aim of the conference is to discuss and critique examples of best
practice in promoting health through cycling. Subjects include
partnership working, National Institute for Health and Clinical
Excellence guidance, delivery of community based schemes and advice on
how to make the argument for cycling. Specialist speakers include
Phillip Darnton, Chair of Cycling England, Dr Hugo Crombie of the
National Institute for Health and Clinical Excellence, Helen Ross of
the Government Office for the East Midlands and Ian Tierney from
Cycling Projects.
